No longer do you have to trail round crowded shops seeking that elusive product when a quick Google search later you have found your product and ordered it.

I remember getting my first PC in the early 90's and being amazed at what it could do. This was back in the good old MS DOS days, so it's fair to say things have evolved considerably since then. Increasingly, people are turning to the internet to do the majority of their shopping. You can shop online 24/7 no matter where you are, whether it's at home, work, school or now - thanks to the development of technology - you can even shop on the move with your mobile phone.
To even consider doing this back when I loaded up MS DOS on my first PC would have been crazy, but now we take it for granted. It's scary to think how far online shopping will have evolved in another 20 years, given it has only really taken off since the start of the new millennium.
A Note of Caution
While 99% of internet shopping sites are secure, there will be some places which are designed to rip you off. Stay safe while shopping online and stick to recommended online shops. You should also use your VISA or Mastercard where possible to protect you if the transaction goes wrong.
